Lestrand's action: I was hoping to attact the one flanking jukai, but knowing Sand(past adventures w/ him) he's flanking the tiger and I don't know exactly where. I'll stay on the defensive but in front of the halfling. Lestrand to Sand: Sand, mon ami, where are you, sunshine? Can't attack blindly!

Round 2: Initiative orderSand: 23 (ghost step, attack tiger) Athos: 14 (handle animal check) Frightened Halfling: 14 (stays behind the party) Tigers: 12 (attacks nearest) Jukai: 11 (drops lasso, Total defense (+4AC) and draw weapons) Lestrand: 9 (draws rapier and attack nearest tiger) Using his inner "ki" energy, Sand "ghoststeps" and disappears form sight . A heartbeat later, tiger(2) roars in pain as a deep gash appears on it's flank (-19hp). DM to Athos: You've deducted that the tigers are fighting enraged, and will continue to do so without any regard to their own safety. Athos tightens his grip on the rope tied to tiger(1)'s neck and in a firm commanding voice yells "DOWN!!!." Any animal would have heeded such a command, specially from a ranger, but the tiger(1) ignores it and continue on it's rampage.Frightened halfling in a trembling voice " Huma, Dezza stop this at once. I command you." The tigers pay him no heed also. Frightened halfling " No use human, they wont... where did that masked man go?" Tiger(1), instead of following Athos command leaps at the elf (AC18) and slashes with it's claws.Tiger(1) full attackClaw1 +11 [dice=20] Total= 16 MISS Claw2 +11 [dice=20] Total= 19 HIT Damage 1d8+8 [dice=8] Total=13 Grapple Tiger(1)+16 vs Athos+7 Tiger [dice=20] Athos [dice=20] WINNER: Tiger Free Rake +11 [dice=20] Total=29HIT Damage 1d8+4 [dice=8] Total=12 Athos manages to avoid the tiger(1)'s first swipe but is hit by the second one. But the lucky fighter is once again saved by his now battered breast plate from being raked by the animals hind claws. The fightr, not wanting to get raked, puts everything into defense (AC24) but is unable to draw his twin heavy maces with the tiger(2) bearing down on him. With the style and quickness of a born duelist, Lestrand draws his rapier and thrusts at the tiger(2) with one fluid motion, the thin magically sharp blade piercing the animal's back and leaving a deep puncture wound.Confirm crit: rapier +13 [dice=20] Total=23 CONFIRMED Damage 2d6+6 [dice=6] [dice=6] Total=16 End of Round 2Athos: grappling with tiger(1) 26 of 51hp left Jukai: grappled with tiger(2) 39 of 74hp left Tiger(1): -20hp Tiger(2): -39hp To Players: Actions for round 3 please... Athos action: After being attacked by the enraged tiger, athos let go of the rope then take a 5 feet step backward then draw his shortsword.
initiative +5[dice=20]
then attack the tiger with piercing it in the the neck although it is hard for me to kill an animal.
melee attack[dice=20] +7
short sword dmg[dice=6][rand=881135678787485519026312617803964264192922098438642531590939795564]

To Athos: Remember you and the tiger(1) are grappling each other, so you (or the tiger) won't be able to take a 5 foot step or move without winning a grapple check first. You can still draw your short sword and attack the tiger(1) with it but you get a -4 penalty to your attack for being grappled. You can still change you actions if you want... To everyone: You only roll initiative only once, at the start of the encounter. You can change your initiative order by refocusing, or readying/delaying an action...

Grapple check +7[dice=20]
then I'll go on defensive position with my short sword.
Barrend to DM: I'm wearing my bracer of protection +2 on AC. So my AC should be 20.[rand=134110465010012497570655750184940084669289781405536802247163276269]

Lestrand's action: I intend to kill the beast to stop it from further damaging jukai. I'm making a called shot for the heart of tiger 2 thru it's flanks. But I'll designate tiger 2 for my dodge feat, raising my ac to 20, plus I'll make my full attack ( two attacks). To Athos: The +2 armor bonus of your bracer does not stack with the +3 armor bonus of the studded leather your wearing so your AC is 18. (You should sell the bracer and buy something better. I'll let you sell it at full price just this one time, after the fight ok). You can also do more than one grapple attempts as a full round action, one at +7 and the other at +2... To Lestrand and Shadowhart: Sorry, but there are no more rules for called shots in D&D 3.5 and I don't have any house rules for them...

Sand's actions for 3rd round:
Sand can't seem to believe that his team are taking a serious beating, he just ground his teeth and let "Myo'o" do his talking. Calling on some mystic ninja training trick Sand gestured with his free hand as his outline blurred for a moment and then he vanished.
Swift Action: Invoke "Ghost Step" ki power for the 2nd time and turn invisible. (He can only turn invisible for one round at a time.) Standard action: Attack tiger2 with "Myo'o". Move Action: Tumble 15ft away so that tiger2 can't full attack him.
Katana Attack: [dice=20]+8 +2(invisible) =25
Katana Damage: [dice=10]+2=9
Sudden Strike Damage: [dice=6]+ [dice=6]+ [dice=6]+ [dice=6]=14
Total damage: 9+14=23
Tumble Check: [dice=20]+17=30
Sand materialized beside the blood soaked tiger2 a dire wound gaping on its neck. The ninja made an acrobatic sommersault wherein he landed 15 feet away. He wiped tiger blood from his blade and called out to his friends behind his kitsune "fox" mask in his usual disconcerting voice...
Sand to Everyone: "Concentrate on bringing down one tiger at a time...and don't let it make repeated swipes at you, move around!"[rand=762790607727518668192005114420563403868292789178418318707931343725]

BArrend to DM: sorry I forgot I'm not taking a movement action. I guess I'll just keep my bracers. So my AC are still 18, here is my 2nd grapple check.
grapple check +2[dice=20]
if I win on our checks, Athos will take it's deffensive position. Will that still gives me +2 on AC?[rand=21277980133033542765845395755872895829566659071565816453045844776]

Round 3: Initiative orderSand: 23 (ghost step, attack tiger) Athos: 14 (escape from the tiger grappling him) Frightened Halfling: 14 (stays behind the party) Tigers: 12 (grapple and rake) Jukai: 11 (Total defense (+4AC)/ did not post) Lestrand: 9 (full attack) Sand reappears, but as fast as the 3 of you can blink, the ninja vanishes and tiger(2) is again cut opened by an unseen attack (-23hp). Tiger(2) emits one final howl and drops on top of Jukai, its life blood bleeding onto the prone fighter. Sand does a spectacular sommesault and moves away from the dying tiger(2), but none was able to sea the invisible ninja's display of acrobatics. Grapple check1: Athos+7 vs tiger+16 Athos: 11 Tiger(2)[dice=20] Winner: tiger(1) Grapple check2: Athos+2 vs tiger+16 Athos: 7 Tger(2)[dice=20] Winner: tiger(1) Athos, still not wanting to hurt such a fine and rare animal, tries his best to free himself from the tigers(1) grasp. He kicks and shoves at the animal, but try as he might he could not break free. The frightened halfling moves towards his fallen pet and sobs "Dezza... she not moving... oh no she's dying... somebody help her"Grapple: Tiger(1)+16 vs Athos+7 Tiger(1)[dice=20] Athos[dice=20] Winner: tiger(1) Grapple damage: 1d8+8 [dice=8] Total: 11 Free rake +7[dice=20] Total: 17 MISS Tiger(1), unaffected by his mates death, continues to claw at the struggling ranger inside its grasp, leaving deep claw marks on Athos' chest. The ranger, his agility boosted by his will to live manages to twist and avoid the rakes that would have finished him off.Lestrand, seeing that Jukai has already gotten up and shoved the dead tiger(2) off him (and has assumed his defensive stance), moves to help Athos. His rapier was a blurr of magical steel as it cuts into tiger(1)'s back (-10 hp total). Happy with his blade work the fighter smiles and flicks his sword with a flourish, flinging blood onto the streets. By now, the streets are pretty deserted as most of the citizens have fled the fight and with the noise of the crowd gone, the four of you can hear the distinctive sound of the city guard's whistle coming from the end of the streets...To Lestrand: I modified your actions a bit, hope you don't mind... End of Round 3Athos: grappling with tiger(1) 37 of 51hp left Jukai: 39 of 74hp left Tiger(1): badly wounded (30 damage) Tiger(2): dying (-5 hp) To Players: The fights not over yet, your actions for the next round and the guards will be arriving at the end of the round 4... Sand's actions for the 4th round:
Seeing that Tiger2 was out of commision, Sand decide to help Athos by finishing the Tiger1. By then the ninja's invisibility already wore off.
Move Action: Approach Tiger1 Standard action: Attack Tiger1 with Katana
Katana Attack: [dice=20]+8=15 (tiger has no dex bonus because it's grappling)
Katana Damage: [dice=10]+2=4
Sudden Strike Damage: [dice=6]+ [dice=6]+ [dice=6]+ [dice=6]=11
Total Damage: 4+11=15
Sand to Everyone: "Finish this tiger now!"[rand=31082347736097815252357404102424696764441339958218930255568812692]
