Well, I'm Popoy. Yes, same as what your thinking. I'll be the one who's gonna be the Dungeon Master for the new campaign. I started playing Dnd way back around 1997 I think. Back then it was still called as Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. Now we are using Dnd 3.5. If you guys have any question regarding Dnd please DO NOT ASK ME! joke, feel free to ask me anything about Dnd, I'll be more than happy to help you on your concern. As on how I play the game: Hmmmp, Lets just say that Noob should think twice before they can say that Kaya ko campaign ni Popoy. I think we should have a shirt saying that "I survive Popoy's Campaign up to LV:___. I think that would be cool. They don't call me Fumma Lay-Ar for nothing. Hehehehe. About the campaign and how I run it, Hmmh, I think it would be best if it came out on the guys who's been playing it for almost 4 years now should tell you guys about it. Just to name a few guys to watch out: Ashardalon, Gulthia, Undead King of the Necropolitan. The Blood Queen of the Vampire Nation, D4, Ariel's Ale, Rei-Zero the 4th's tales to the twilight Zone, Orcs that named Grom, Single winged celestial dwarfs, Mad Sorcerer named Darsh, Clerics that have a 30 play time every campaign, MDisjunctions, etc.............

well I'm xyjen real name Christian but the d4 calls me the man sleeper!! well i really started playing the REAL Dungeons and Dragons when kuya popoy was our DM well he was the best DM as far as i know I've learned a lot from him well for n00bs take my advice for it even though we played so many campaign as kuya popoy as our DM we still couldn't say that we could survive kuya popoys campaign up to level :________, believe me only a coward would last kuya popoy's campaign without loosing a level but you won't gain a level even though you're a coward you'll still loose a level you can run from kuya popoy's campaign but you can't hide!!! and one more thing always remember eveery campaign there is a qouta of character deaths!!!!

Qouta for Deaths! That only applies on Noobs or with Ogre. Speaking of Ogre, Is it ok if we invite the Ogre to join? I need feedbacks on this. I can't decide on this issue alone.....

i'm jerome been playing DnD with popoy for about .... (i really cant remember how many years... or months it was but i do remember how good it was) well i'm usually playing as a bard.. in popoy's campaign i think im the one whose always creating new character every end of campaign session hehe i guess thats make me noob so pls be nice to me!!!  about ogre.. dennis will be happy with him around but thats not goes for the other way around. |

Ouch!! d4xyjen, that's a little bit harsh. Sorry about! it wont happen again. Anyways, Hmmm... where to start? Well, I'll start by saying Hi! Names Nicole Andrea. Nikki for short. We started playing Dungeons and Dragons way back on our College days in PWU. We started playing around 5 players. 2 guys and 3 girls. Then 1 guy who's a BF of the other girl stop showing up. "LQ" then 2 other girls added to the group. I think Jaime or Popoy really had a hard time explaining to us all the details of the game. Well for the others. I have a little background on the game coz my brother use to play that game also. I played aCleric back then named Yesha Faulkin. We roughly finish a campaign when we started fooling around. We would know if DM isn't happy with our roleplaying when suddenly Popoy start asking us to make a spot/Listen checks or worst Initiative roles already and he would state that it was a suprise ATK. Its Fun all and all. I'll try to join the online game as soon as its ready. Miss yah Dadddy Poy.

Ehem Im Red ive been playing RPG's since i ate my first candy (and still plays like a noob)
and yes so far im the only one in popoys world that some how made a character live a happy(and traumatic life) hehehe
as for the nubs (including me) dont get us wrong when we say there is always a quota in the campaign it never fails never .....
orge joining the campaign? its cool with me as long as he doesnt play as a one winged celestial

sorry im late to post my introduction, im dennis, one of the d4, im started to know the world of dnd by jerome "he was my 1st dm"' then we meet chano and kuya red "2000" (correct me if im wrong) we play some kind of role playing games, so that i have experience with rpg, then we explore the other games like mage knigth, so we meet kuya popoy, he introduce the real dnd 3rd edition, then 3.5, since now popoy monster is not quite easy, so some of the player always double check their character before entering the campaign, thanks kuya poy for the time you expend we us to create a charater the kill us hihihihihihi

Hi every one sorry for the late post of my intoduction. I'm Lerry and I've been playing RPG since 1998 and upto the present.. but sadly I rarely play now.. hmmmm popoy?? I've known him since i was in my freshman yrs (senior n cya nun) and i somewhat encountered him in PWU (same level n kmi XD) and i show him the 3rd ED book that i have  and its miah who invited me here also thnx dude I hope you dont mind since i will not be able to play cause of im not in the philippines I still want to participate XD... I'm currently busting I disagree off here in qatar... does anyone need a copy of Book of Vile Darkness?? XD or Warcraft RPG?? |

Okey, My name is Maan. I'm 20 yrs of age. I'm not that familiar with Dungeons and Dragons unlike Ate Nikki. I have played it once before. I'm not quite sure what am I doing back then. All I do back then was Hack and slash. So now, I have no idea on how to play a Spell caster. But I'm sure I'll have fun playing it. My only problem so far with my Sorceress is that it have a very low HP.
PS: I see a lot of members in the forum but why is it that we are the only ones playing? Hi Kuya Seth!!!!!

I am Russel, call me Red... I have been playin' RPG since 1987. tht is the time back then when the startin' players where, Ronald Gonzales along wit' his 2 brothers Benjie, Blue, Michael Dalud and Leroy from Leo's campaign.
I started wit' the 2nd edition Paladin from Leo's campaign. Frankly, I don't get it why people call Popoy "Fuma Lei Ar?" Guys, Popoy's just really outsmartin' the people? Tell that to Popoy! I play 1 year time from Leo's campaign and he's one know real expert on Game Masterin'. 1 year and most of our guys gained only level character. That game was really hard.
The truth is that Popoy is really that smart and he can forecast what will be happenin' in the next scene whenever a character plays. Meanin' he's outsmartin' his players. I never compare Poy because I know he's really one f**kin' game master who can turn the tables upside down and kill players whenever he wants to, again I'd like to say, he's not Fuma, he's blood god, he wants what he wants most of the newbies never know him really that much.
On Leo's campaign it was hard because he really meant it hard that he only gives an XP to players 1/3 of the actual XP a character can really gain. If Popoy became a good Game Master, ask him which players he played wit', these are the guys wit' thinkin' brains...
If I say this really hard, because all talks and nuts I see here and say, Poy's a Fuma. Nonsense... He just outsmart you... These is the real six street guy's belief "survival of the fittest, the strong will survive, the weakest dies..."
The old rules where really hard that we need to make some adjustments on it. After Leo, I played Robotech from Michael Dalud, the game was really fun, strategic and real team workin' I can really say. If you guys knows Michael Dalud, ask him how and what way he makes his game is good?
After that, Ronald Gonzales started Game Masterin', I played a Fighter level 15/Paladin 15/Ranger 5 on his campaign, my weaponry was a 2H Sword of Gravity and the Paladin's Pureblade. Along wit' Players Archie who's a 10th level Cleric/20th level Druid, and Benjie who has the same character and level as mine, Anthony a great player for a Rogue character, this guy is really a con man in real life and applies his tactics as Rogue in the game.
After that, Michael started Game Masterin' for D&D, my character was at start a level 5 Paladin along wit' new guys, Alton, Ronald and another Ronald (Doji Carlo's cousin), Xenos and Simon. Then came Nathaniel and Joel, Mike Dalud's brothers along wit' Arvin and Carlo Doji.
Then I started to become a Game Master, for Robotech and Shadowrun (D&D combined wit' Machine/Technology). This was my speciality, my players were really havin' hard time. My NPCs are the same how my players creates a character. Shadowrun can really kick some ass the players starts to cry out "ouch!" I use NPCs wit' accuracy that even each weapon at hand and any weapon can be use is totally at its usage. My ninjas often uses grenades and I often use subtlety and espionage as game master for NPCs, my players dies wit'out even knowin' what hit 'em? Care to feel how a 50 caliber Barret Browning Sniper weapon? Let's see if you get to dodge the slugs on pointblank. One player died for a very bad reason, he tried to outsmart me and he never even known the rules really apply, "quick, painful, honorless deaths awaits those who do not know the ways of the shadows..." Simple, a backstab from the shadows...
Then Michael started Game Masterin' again. A new team was created, my character was a Samurai 7th level wit' his weapon the Kurudo Blade (Defender +3). After than I played along wit' Popoy wit' his 9th level Sorcerer and his partner was me, my Minotaur 6th Level.
Poy and I were good partners and I was his so called bodyguard and battering ram. The game was really fun and Poy, even though his character way back was really lawful evil, I came to survive along with him.
When Legend of the Five Rings came, Poy started Game Mastering and this was his 1st Game Mastering, the L5R. I was a samurai from the crane clan, a lot of players died and only me Ogre and psycho lived his game. Psycho was my partner a Crab samurai and Ogre was from the Dragon Clan Togashi.
Since Popoy started gaming again, I'd feel like I wanted to test his gamers. Modern D20, a blend of Shadowrun and Dungeons & Dragons combined in one game, care to feel the wrath of a PSG-1 Sniper Rifle? Same rules, d20 as D&D. Any damage more that the characters' Constitution is considered clobbered. A slug from a Artic Weapon Magnum Sniper Rifle causes 2d10 points of damage. How about the Desert Eagle, 1d10 damage? Now let's see how smart a player can be if he get's to hit by a slug? Frankly I see newbies dyin' easily, a sword can mame you, a gun can blow a hole in you, a missile can blow you up to pieces? Now we can see that a door that characters got scared can make also a character cowerin' for fear whenever they get to eat a slug? Har har har...
Popoy I have some disk of PDF Files, I'd like to give you some copies for Modern D20 if you want to burn some CDs. Keep on gamin' Popoy, give 'em the hard time... Wait for me when I get back, ok?

I'm wraith, i played d&d since 1st year college, and it got me hooked ever since. We have our own group back home, and we play regularly, mostly during weekends, when everyone has free time. I am also a DM in my campaign group,we use the Eberron campaign setting though.
Nikki was the one who introduced me to your forums, and so, here I am. I asked my friends to join too, but so far i haven't seen them register yet.

I love that name ever since... my ex-fiancee Nigel used to call me Shadow, I got the name Shadow Walker from Legends of the five Rings. One of the powerful ninjas who walks through shadows to shadows. Also I love Hanzou Hattori, he is know also the Hanzou the Shadow Devil, this is his title.
Hanzou Hattori is a real life character, a superior bodyguard to Tokugawa Ieyasu of the Edo Period Japan. Hanzou is also known as a Jonin Ninja, a Ninja lord. The Iga is a village in Japan which is opposite to the Koga village, both are enemies, the Iga Ninja of the Iga-Ryu style Ninjutsu and Koga Ninja of the Koga-Ryu style Ninjutsu.
